    Nivel de estrés académico y resiliencia en estudiantes de la unidad educativa Santa Marianita de Borrero período 2024-2025

    Academic stress is the set of cognitive, behavioral, and emotional responses in students due to events and demands that are perceived as excessive in relation to the resources they have to cope with them. On the other hand, resilience is the ability of people to recover from stressful events. The theoretical basis of this research is based on Seligman's positive psychology (resilience) and the cognitive transactional model of stress by Lazarus and Folkman (academic stress). For this reason, this research proposes, as a general objective, to describe the levels of academic stress and resilience in students of the "Santa Marianita de Borrero" Educational Unit from 2024 - 2025 according to sociodemographic variables such as age and gender. This study has a quantitative research approach, a non-experimental design, and a descriptive scope. It will work with a population of 40 students. The instruments used are the SISCO SV- 21 inventory of academic stress and the Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale, Peruvian adaptation. The results reveal that academic stress is significantly distributed between low, medium, and high levels in the population studied, with predominance in the medium level (65.4%), followed by the high level (26.9%) and, finally, the low level (7.7%). Regarding the levels of resilience, it is present in the very low level: 1 individual (3.8%), low level: 7 individuals (26.9%), average level: 11 individuals (42.4%), and high level: 7 individuals (26.9%).
