The objective of this degree work is the development of the Architectural Preliminary Project of the new municipal GAD for the Pablo Sexto canton. Urban development and population growth in the city have generated the need to have adequate equipment for the administrative management of the canton. The study begins with the compilation and analysis of the theory regarding administrative equipment and everything related to the public ad- ministration of Ecuador. Then we proceed to make a formal analysis of di- fferent study references which will be within a Latin American context and these will help us set guidelines for how the execution of a preliminary pro- ject of this magnitude should be. After this, the diagnosis of the city of Pablo Sexto is carried out, both at the canton level and at the urban center and block level. Finally, after having concluded the research and analysis, we proceed to carry out the design of the architectural preliminary project of the new municipal GAD for the Pablo Sexto canton.
