Posibles impactos de la fabricación aditiva en la cadena de suministro
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2017) Vintimilla, Paola
The present work analyzes on the bibliography the intervention of Additive Manufacturing or 3-D Printing in Supply Chain and proposes possible future scenarios where levels and actors of the chain are modified. The 3-D printing is constantly evolving and is gradually being part of production systems, modifying the production and distribution processes to which we are used to. The possible impacts of Additive Manufacturing on Supply Chain that are proposed in this work are determinated by the stages found on the bibliography and by mixed models, they are as follows: First stage: Prototyping, Second Stage: 3-D printing for final parts or products in factory or commerce, Third Stage: 3-D Printing at Home, Mixed Model 1: Factory and Home Printing, and Mixed Model 2: Home Printing with Brand Authorization. The different scenarios are also compared to each other according the SCOR model, which determines the participation or not of certain actors of the Supply Chain and the modification on production and distribution systems.
