    Actualización del Inventario de atractivos turísticos del cantón Santiago de la Provincia de Morona Santiago con la metodología del Ministerio de Turismo 2017

    The present intervention work entitled "Updating the Inventory tourist attractions of canton Santiago in the province of Morona Santiago with the methodology of the Ministry of Tourism 2017", is an important tool for future tourist developments in the canton of Santiago, updating the inventory will allow planning and generating tourism projects that will help to boost the economy of the territory and to mitigate possible negative effects, and this in turn will lead to the discovery of the natural and cultural beauty of the canton. Currently, canton Santiago belonging to the province of Morona Santiago does not count on an updated inventory of tourist attractions; however, in the parish territorial arrangement planning of the canton's , some attractions with greater frequency of visit are mentioned, that is why there is the need for updating the inventory of the canton Santiago tourist attractions with the methodology of the Ministry of Tourism, 2017. In this project of intervention, the use of the methodology of tourism 2017 allowed the identification, classification and valuation of the attractions with the best conditions for the development of tourist products resulting in twenty nine attractions.
