    Nowadays audit in all its different types has been used by the companies as an important tool for organizational health, because its application provides great benefits such as: measure efficiency and effectiveness of operations, improve the internal control system, verify the degree of compliance with goals, objectives and evaluate the use of resources within companies. The type of audit used in this project is a special exam and it will be focus on the Production Department of ¨Industria de Minerales La Colina Inducolina Cía. Ltda¨ whose principal activity is the extraction, processing and distribution of natural fertilizers around the country. The main objective is to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations, activities and processes carried out within to the Production Department of Mineral Industries La Colina Inducolina Cía. Ltda., and after that, issue a final report containing the possible deviations, as well as conclusions and recommendations aimed at perfecting the shortcomings of the process analyzed.
