El complot discursivo en la narrativa de Roberto Arlt
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-09-21) Merino Ordóñez, Gabriela Elizabeth; Villavicencio Quinde, Manuel Gonzalo
The plot is a present subject in the literature and universal thought. In each historical period, it has been approached in close relationship with the context, as in the case of Argentina in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. In this framework, we analyze the diptych formed by Los siete locos and Los lanzallamas of the bonaerense Roberto Arlt, from four important points: the language, the space, the secret society, and the Astrólogo, which show a discursive plot capable of breaking the rules and making possible the subversion of reality, while new discourses and utopias are being built. Thus, the narrative opposes hegemonic statements deciphering and confronting them with a call that is only visible to a limited group of readers. Our work started from the literary analysis with statements from theoretical, literary, and critical sources
