    Resultados tratamiento R-CHOP, primera línea, en linfoma no Hodgkin difuso de células B grandes en pacientes del Hospital José Carrasco Arteaga 2013-2018. Cuenca, 2019

    Background: diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) represents 1/3 of the lymphomas approximately. The regimen of rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone (R-CHOP) constitutes as its first-line treatment. Objective: to evaluate the results of R-CHOP treatment, in DLBCL in patients of The José Carrasco Arteaga Hospital in Cuenca, 2013-2018. Methodology: a descriptive transversal study of 83 cases of DLBCL; the information obtained from the hospital database system (AS 400) was used, which was recollected at Excel 2016 and being processed at SPSS-v23.0 software. The analysis was organized by tables, using frequency, percentages and measures of key trends. Results: 83 cases of DLBCL with R-CHOP treatment were studied. The female sex predominated with 53%. The average age was 61,41 years. Stage III and IV was observed in 36,1% and 31,3% of the cases. Low risk at the diagnosis was the main, corresponding to 34,9%. Nodal site was the most common (53%). Gastric affection was 46,2% of the extra-nodal involvement. 68.7% of the patients showed complete response, 6% partial response, 7,2% stable disease, 9,6% progressive disease and 8.4% died during treatment. Conclusions: the DLBCL was more frequent in the female sex, with higher frequency in patients older than 70 years. Most of the patients had advanced stages and a low risk. The complete remission was presented in most cases
