Item Diseño infográfico sobre IA aplicada a la creación de personajes en el concept art(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-03-07) Villa Pauzhi, David Patricio; Peralta Fajardo, Paul GustavoThis research work focuses on infographic design and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in concept art for character creation. This document records a process adapted from Joan Costa's methodology for the study of methodological infographics, due to its ability to adapt to the nature of the work and present information in a clear and concise manner. The process is organized into five stages. In the first stage, called "Research," information is gathered, and relevant data is selected. Key concepts are also identified based on the focus on the target audience. The infographic creation process consists of five stages: Conceptualization, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation. In the first stage, initial sketches are created, and project objectives are defined. The hierarchy of information and the structure of the infographic are also established. Graphic scheme families, such as diagrams, networks, or organizational charts, are chosen. In the second stage, graphic elements are selected, and final designs are produced. Special attention is given to the readability and clarity of the content. Decisions are made regarding line, shape, color, typography, space, and image. In the third stage, computer tools are employed to create the final infographic. Necessary corrections and adjustments are made to ensure the project's quality. In the fourth stage, the most viable solution is analyzed. The visual effectiveness of the infographic is evaluated, and it is checked whether the established objectives have been achieved. Possible future improvements are also identified.
