    This present word aims " ANALIZAR Y PROPONER UN MODELO DE GESTION LOGISTICA PARA EL SECTOR COMERCIAL DE LA CIUDAD DE CUENCA, CASO DE APLICACIÓN: ADISCOM ACEROS DEL AUSTRO PERIODO 2015-2016" the idea of this work is born as an opportunity to carry out a correct management of logistics, providing useful tools that serve as a point of reference to achieve the efficiency of each one of the activities developed by "Adiscom Aceros del Austro" Continuous improvement implies a commitment, since this issue is currently gaining strength in SMEs, for this reason, inadequate management stagnates the development and aggrandizement of the company. For the methodology of the study a stratified sample was used, the information was obtained through surveys applied to different commercial companies dedicated to the retail sale of items in specialized establishments. The “Adiscom Aceros del Austro” manager was also interviewed to find out how the business is currently working. Among the relevant information detected in the investigation to “Adiscom” is that there is resistance to change, loss of sales, poor customer service, if something goes wrong in any of the subsystems that make up the logistics such as: supply, storage, inventory, transportation and customer service, leads to the immediate loss of customers that significantly affects. To mitigate these problems, a logistic management model was designed that describes the activities and actions to be taken in each of the subsystems in a detailed manner.
