    La satisfacción de los visitantes a la Laguna de Busa del cantón San Fernando, 2019-2020

    This research paper studies the satisfaction of Laguna de Busa visitors, in San Fernando canton, to establish whether their expectations are fulfilled or not when visiting this tourist attraction. To meet the above objective, we analyze the satisfaction of visitors with the following aspects: tourist offer, food and accommodation service; in addition, the sociodemographic characteristics of the visitor and their satisfaction are related. The methodology used in the study is qualitative in nature. With regard to the techniques used for research, the documentary technique for literature collection on customer satisfaction and similar studies on the subject was used; existing data was accessed in the Visitor Registry prepared by the Decentralized Autonomous Government of San Fernando canton; and surveys were carried out on visitors to the Laguna de Busa in the period June 2019-February 2020, mainly on weekends and holidays as it is then when most visits are recorded. When it relates to visitor satisfaction the result is generally positive. This investigation provides information for the pertaining entities. This information can help to improve and position the tourist spot and make tourism contribute more to the economic growth of San Fernando canton.
