    Background. In 1967, UN Yura and Walsh described four-phase process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Bloch in 1974 and Roy in 1975 added the diagnostic phase, giving place to the real SAP. Objective. Determine the implementation of the Nursing Care Process nurses / os working in the Regional Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso, Cuenca 2015. Methodology. Descriptive was used cross-sectional quantitative research; with a universe of 140 professionals; The method was observation; As interview technique and an instrument Forms. Were analyzed data obtained in the software programs SPSS version 21, Microsoft Excel and Word. Results. Of the 55 Professionals 34.5% respondents have a clear vision About SAP; 98.2% Application Stresses the importance Do; 96.4% say it helps to improve the quality of care. 41.8% say that sometimes I applied quickly, Instant or incomplete. 14.5% say they PAE could be replaced by another Methodology easier. Conclusions. We found that SAP is not properly implemented. Care to provide users apply other methodologies.
