    Social groups are the union of two or more persons that moved by common interests and objectives tend to gather in order to reach certain purposes like: solve problems or needs that the groups are going through. There is a huge diversity of social groups such as: professional groups, housewives groups, former student groups, religious groups, sporting groups, etc. In these groups, interaction and communication spaces are generated or even conflict spaces that are part of the dynamic of the group. In the develop of society, social groups are important due to all individuals are in touch with others. Therefore, all human beings are part of one or more social groups that form a social structure where lieders and public figures lead the course of the society. Professionals in social work make an important contribution which through their actions are in permanent touch with social groups. The objective of this topic is to clarify the importance of the role of professional staff performance with the groups. Also, to know more about their functions and identify strategies that contribute to the solid organizations of the social groups. In this work presents a literature review and collection topics most important regarding groups.
