    Factores asociados a los traumatismos cráneo encefálicos de los pacientes que ingresan al servicio de emergencia del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso, 2006

    The investigation was carried out in the emergency area of the "Vicente Corral Moscoso" Hospital, to determine the factors associated with the TEC, because it is a serious public health problem that causes temporary or permanent impossibility and is even one of the indicators of Morbidity and mortality. The theoretical framework addresses the pathogenesis of ECT, epidemiology, treatment and management of these patients. The results obtained from the research show that the highest percentage occurs between the 30 and 40 years and are associated with the occupational accident, domestic violence, alcoholism And traffic accidents. The research is qualitative and descriptive, the sample was taken from 36 patients who presented different degrees of ECT, mild, moderate and severe. Due to the result obtained and as a study source, a proposal for intervention, promotion and prevention of the TEC
