    Tamizaje del neurodesarrollo infantil en niños y niñas de 0 a 3 años del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil Semillitas de la ciudad de Macas 2021

    Background: Child development is the basis of human development, mainly in the cognitive, motor, language, social and self-help fields, for which it is decided to evaluate child development in boys and girls from 0 to 3 years of age who attend the " Semillitas Child Development Center”, through the EDI child development assessment test. Objective: To evaluate the child development of children from 0 to 3 years of age at the Semillitas Child Development Center. Methodology: It is a descriptive, quantitative and prospective study; for the statistical analysis of the qualitative variables, tables of frequencies and percentages were used, for the quantitative variables the measures of central tendency were used: mean, median and mode; the results were presented through statistical tables, graphs in the Microsoft Excel 2016 program and the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program. Results: The study was carried out with a population of 60 children from 0 to 3 years of age, of which 43% were male and 57% female. The most prevalent age is children from 31 to 36 months with 33%. According to data from the Child Development Assessment Test "EDI", 47% of children are delayed in their development and 16% are at risk of delay.
