To analyze the perception of physical education classes, motivation and the level of physical activity post pandemic in students of the unified general high school of the Gabriel Cevallos Educational Unit. The sample consisted of a total of 65 students (28 females and 37 males), ME = 16 years of age belonging to 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of BGU. The research is non-experimental with a descriptive cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The SPSS v25 statistical program was used for data analysis; with the parametric statistical T-test for paired data. To calculate the descriptive statistics, the perception of the PE classes was measured using the Instrument for Measuring Satisfaction with PE classes (I.M.S.E.F). To measure the level of motivation, the Basic Psychological Needs Scale (BPN) adapted to PE was used, taking into account that the selfdetermination theory considers that the three basic and universal psychological needs of autonomy, competence and relationship with others directly influence student motivation. Deci and Ryan (2000). In addition, the International PA Questionnaire (IPAQ) was used to measure levels of PA. The results regarding the NPB satisfaction level and the relationship with PA level showed that students of the two genders with higher NPB satisfaction levels are those who have a level considered high in PA. On the other hand, with respect to the relationship between the perception of the PE classes and the level of PA, it was evidenced that the satisfaction with the sports activities and with the teacher, the women with a low level of PA are more satisfied, while the women with a moderate level of PA have the lowest degree of satisfaction with the sports activities and with the teacher. In the case of men, they are the most satisfied with the sports activities, the content and the teacher, having a high level of PA. In conclusion, students who had a higher level of PA had higher levels of motivation and satisfaction with the classes.
