Everyday science explores the many cosmological phenomena of the universe, the greatest of which being the existence of black holes. This thesis aims to put music and sound, by means of orchestral music fused with electronic music, to a musical program shaped by the physical astronomical phenomenon of black holes, specifically one that is located in the Perseus Galaxy Cluster. The compositional material for creative work derived from the physical-cosmological research conducted by Chandra`s NASA Laboratory.

This paper work focuses on the reality of teaching music within the context of early education schools at Cuenca city, specifically in the parishes of San Blas, San Sebastian, Gil Ramirez Dávalos and El Sagrario comprise the historic center of the city. It aims to analyze the pedagogical and didactic circumstances in which music teaching children in early education of the twenty schools that make up the study is inserted. The research is qualitative, as it seeks to establish explanations for the reality of musical education in schools as part of the study. To carry out the investigation has documentary technique in order to collect information on music education theories which are closest to the focus of this research, surveys that apply to 14 early education teachers of the 21 schools parishes belonging to San Blas, San Sebastian, Gil Ramirez Dávalos and El Sagrario, according to the database of the Sub-Department of Education Azuay for information to be conclusive for the purposes of research. It has been observed that teachers have not adequate preparation to teach music education due to lack of training by the Ministry of Education and the lack of management of the school. We conclude that students have their own musical interests, which often are not covered in the planning of teaching and learning strategies necessary to include that capture the attention of children.
Tabaquismo, características socioeconómicas y culturales de la parroquia San Blas de la ciudad de Cuenca 2002-2003

The study is part of a project "Tobacco, poverty and disease in the city of Cuenca" carried out by the University of Cuenca by assigning groups to several parishes. Quantitative description epidemiological aimed at measuring variables such as personal characteristics, socio-economic conditions and characteristics of smoking. The sample is stratified random, with 1of the families of the parish of San Blas preliminary draw for the homes, which corresponds to 142 people, a structured survey tabulated with EPI INFO and EXCEL was applied. We conclude that smokers are 21.8 and 78.2 are not, of these the 16,1corresponde the female and male 83.9; the average social strata 74,2al and 25,8al-low. The average spend 43 social stratum 1 per day and $ 254 a day. The 68refiere smokers suffering from some pathology related to smoking, of which 52 are respiratory, digestive 19 are a nervous 10 are indoles
