Based on the importance to know attitudes towards sexuality in all stages of life, the aim of this study was to determine these attitudes towards sexuality, its relationship with sociodemographic factors, the stimuli that predominate in, and the comparison between genders in such attitudes of elderly adults. A descriptive-comparative study was conducted in which the EROS scale which evaluates the attitudes towards sexuality, focusing on the dimensions erotophobia and erotophilia was used. A total of 161 senior citizens, aged over 60 years old, 95 women and 65 men, who attend to the memory workshops offered by the IESS - Elderly Citizen Care Canter participated. The results have shown that elderly adults have a fair attitudes towards aspects and issues about sexuality, predominating erotophofobic attitudes towards homosexuality and unconventional sex; moderate attitudes on the subject of masturbation, and when bathing naked with another person; while erotophilia has been shown in aspects related to pleasure and visual stimuli such as books and movies with sexual content. There is a significant relationship with socio-demographic factors, with marital status, being divorced elderly adults whom scored the highest in erotophilia and single marital status in contrast, whom claimed to be erotophobics.
