The University of Cuenca is part of the European Latin American Network for the Support of Social Entrepreneurs (ELANET), which seeks to develop an international IT platform to support social entrepreneurs. In this framework, the objective of this paper is to evaluate the results obtained and the impact generated by the ELANET project in supporting social entrepreneurs from the perspective of the University of Cuenca, identifying lessons learned and generating recommendations for future similar initiatives. Using a mixed methodology that combines the qualitative method, i.e., literature review, interviews with key actors, reports and documents provided by the project to know each part of the implementation of the program, and the quantitative method, where data will be collected based on surveys and the construction of indicators that will allow us to know numerically the fulfillment of the project's objectives. The main results of this ex-post evaluation show a low integration of partners, which implies a low compliance with the goal of establishing relationships that allow the promotion of potential ventures. In addition, there is evidence of excellent compliance in the inclusion of the academic community in the project through students and teachers involved, as well as the inclusion of case studies in the curriculum. This evaluation concludes by verifying that the majority of the project goals set with the University of Cuenca have been met
