The most representative sports and social organization in the Sígsig can-ton, the Intercommunity Central Committee, faces considerable obstacles that prevent it from optimally performing its functions, primarily due to its lack of appropriate facilities and institutional ownership. This situation limits both physical activities and social integration at the cantonal level. This the-sis proposes the design of a preliminary architectural project for an indoor sports court with complementary multipurpose spaces, with the aim of en-hancing the operation of the Intercommunity Central Committee and promo-ting community integration among the residents of the Sígsig canton. The proposal is based on a mixed methodology that included the study of theo-retical references on sports facilities and social cohesion, the analysis of the specific characteristics of the intervention site, the definition of a functional program based on the specific needs of the Committee, and the review of municipal documentation. The resulting preliminary design is conceived as a flexible architectural space, capable of hosting both sporting events and various social activities, optimizing the use of the court and its complemen-tary areas, integrating harmoniously with the surroundings, and ensuring universal accessibility for all users.
