    Trastornos musculoesqueléticos por la educación virtual en estudiantes de fisioterapia de la Universidad de Cuenca 2021

    Objective: To determine the influence of virtual education in the production of musculoskeletal disorders, through the application of the Nordic Questionnaire in students of the Physiotherapy Career of the University of Cuenca, 2021. Methodology: The research was of a descriptive cross-sectional type, in students of the Physiotherapy career at the University of Cuenca 2021. The analysis was carried out in the statistical program SPSS V27 and the edition of tables and graphs in Excel 2019. The associations made between variables they were executed using the Chi-Square statistic with a significance of 5% (p<0.05). Results: 98 students were evaluated, with a mean age of 22.35 years, determining that 91.8% of students present discomfort in at least one body area, registering that the most affected body area is the neck region with a percentage of 79.6%. Regarding sex, it was determined that women present discomfort to a significantly higher extent than men (p<0.05), with the age most affected being 19 to 22 years. Conclusions: After the application of the Nordic Questionnaire, the existence of a relationship between virtual education and the formation of musculoskeletal disorders was found.
