    Factores de riesgo que influyen en la violencia intrafamiliar en la parroquia Jadán del cantón Gualaceo. Azuay. 2016

    BACKGROUND: Domestic violence is a social problem in constant growth. Several studies indicate that the factors of risk for trigger the violence are: have been witnesses of violence in his childhood, low level educational, and abuse of alcohol, among others. OBJECTIVE: to identify the factors of risk that influence in the violence domestic in the parish Jadán of the canton Gualaceo. (Azuay, 2016) METHODOLOGY: was carried out a research quantitative, descriptive, in the families of the parish Jadán. As technique is used the interview and visits home. As instruments are used the surveys “profile of groups vulnerable and factors of risk to the violence family by Casique I., 2012 adapted by authors", and "guidelines for the diagnosis of the violence domestic by UNICEF, 2007". Information analysis was made through the program SPSS and the results were presented through tables and graphs. RESULT: of them 94 women surveyed, 27.7% are older of 45 years, 55.3% are women married, type of family nuclear and that is dedicated to be housewives of House, the 69.1% with level of instruction elementary, 37.2% have income economic low. The type of violence that prevails in the parish of Jadán is the psychological. The main risk factors for domestic violence are: lack of communication in the home 48.9%, an impulsive character of the man 48.9%, having suffered violence previously by his couple 44.7%, and the excessive consumption of alcohol by his couple 37.2%. CONCLUSION: According to the data found in this study, we have reached the conclusion that domestic violence predominates in older women with lower levels of education, who have economic or emotional dependence on their partner, having witnessed or suffered violence in their childhood is one of the main risk factors for domestic violence
