    Interculturalidad. Diálogos teórico prácticos para la gestión del cantón Cuenca – Ecuador

    Although the issue of interculturality is a constitutional priority in Ecuador, in local planning instruments it goes inadvertent. This problem also characterizes the territory of Cuenca. In this perspective, interculturality does not entail greater significance in the 2011 and 2015 Territorial Organizational Planning. This devaluation behoves to a limited concept of culture, which reduces the term to meanings of tangible heritage. Therefore, the objective of text focuses on developingdialogues between practice and theory from decolonial, marxist, post-structural and feminist contributions, and since an attempt to formulate the intercultural theme as a public policy in the institutional management of the Cuenca's Autonomous Decentralized Government. Notwithstanding this aspect be present in the analysis, its functionality is restricted to the formal aspects of the aforementioned governmental plans

    Mujeres y redes agroecológicas del sur de Ecuador

    This thesis examines women’s political participation and advocacy in agroecological peasant organizations through ethnographic work in Loja and some areas in the south of Ecuador. By using life stories, this research explores the impact and importance of women’s role within these organizations linked to two of the most active Agroecological Networks in the country. Therefore, this paper aim is to describe the daily life of women leaders around agroecological practices and the complexity of family farming regarding feminine perspective. Furthermore, this study argues about this women protagonist role in the struggle for production and reproduction of life in a context of a civilizational.
