    Factores de riesgo asociados a embarazo en adolescentes atendidas en la Fundación Pablo Jaramillo en los meses de noviembre-diciembre del 2006 y enero del 2007, Cuenca 2007

    The research aims to describe the risk factors associated with pregnancy in adolescents attended at the Pablo Jaramillo Foundation, highlighting the social, family and economic factors that affect a pregnancy at an early age, determining the frequency and complications. We interviewed 83 pregnant adolescents who were in Prenatal Control of the Pablo Jaramillo Foundation, during the months November-December 2006 and January 2007, with prior informed consent. Results: 55.4% of adolescents interviewed indicated that there was no information about sexuality and contraceptive methods, considering that 1773 pregnant women had a high pregnancy rate; Early pregnancies in rural areas, A situation that has negative consequences for the family and community, this group is exposed to health risks, such as intense headaches, urinary infections, 36.1 panic and anxiety, 34.8 general malaise, 32.5 vomiting, 31.3 painful contractions, 20.5 bled. 14.5 fever, anemia 10.8 hypertension, 7.2 elimination of fluid 2.4 situations that can be prevented with adequate prenatal control during gestation. It is concluded that young people initiate their sexual relations at an early age, due to the low level of education of the parents and the lack of information on sexuality and contraceptive methods, which results in an early or unwanted pregnancy
