This degree project proposes the participatory design of a Tourist Viewpoint for the rural parish of Cochapata in the province of Azuay. The proposal continues the investigations of the TEAM MINGA group from the University of Cuenca, who managed to identify different scenarios and opportunities present within the parish. The project seeks to consolidate the infrastructure of the area, so that its cultural potential is maximized, and the area is revitalized. A mixed methodology was used divided into 4 stages, from the definition of key concepts and regulations, through multilevel analysis with a sustainable approach to the parish and specific context, the collection of community information and the analysis of case studies. Ending with the definition of design criteria and the preparation of the architectural design at the preliminary project level, a process in which special emphasis was placed on concepts related to sustainability and accessibility. Throughout this process, it incorporates and collaborates actively with the community to propose and project ideas that will serve as a guide for the approach of the preliminary project
