    Análisis de los riesgos financieros en las empresas grandes de la ciudad de Cuenca-Ecuador. Dentro del contexto COVID-19

    Risk management is essential to be able to anticipate possible unfortunate events, which is why the objective of this research is to determine the financial risks in which cuencanas companies could incur within the COVID-19 context. The research is quantitative with a correlational approach and a hypothetical deductive method. For the development of the work, the data presented by the Superintendence of Companies, Securities and Insurance of the period 2020, of the large companies of Cuenca will be considered. For the determination of financial risks and non-financial risks, Altman's Z Score is used as a criterion for the classification of financial risks, and a logistic regression model is estimated to identify the factors that can influence the financial risk of the companies. The main results indicate that liquidity and portfolio turnover have an inverse influence on financial risk; however, indebtedness has a direct effect on the financial risk of Cuenca companies.
