The present graduation work offers an innovative technological resource named “learning object” which is formed by multimedia resources used in the teaching of applications for the resolutions of problems of maximum and minimum. This resource is directed to the students that have their major in Physics and Mathematics in the University of Cuenca who have in their academic preparation the subject of Differential Calculus. Chapter I, contains the theoretical basis of the proposal which is based in a constructivist view which purpose is that the students get significant learning in mathematics. It is also developed a presentation of the importance of the technology, information and communication in the field of education, specifically of the technological resource named “learning object” Chapter II, presents the concepts and definitions with model exercises of certain Differential Calculus topics that students must have for the study of maximum and minimum. Chapter III, presents the procedure followed for the elaboration of the learning objects and their correspondent didactic guides and digital boards made based in the methodology proposed by DIUC. “Impact of induction process through learning objects for students of the first year in the University of Cuenca” Finally, there are generated five Learning Objects made systematically.
