    Geo referenciación y estudio de las plantas existentes, autóctonas e introducidas en las parroquias: Baños, Tarqui, Ricaurte, San Joaquin

    This monograph’s main goal is to analyze and describe the current flora, both native and introduced, of the following parishes: Baños, Ricaurte, San Joaquin and Tarqui, focusing only on the most representative ones of each of them. At the same time, this research will analyze their location, characteristics and uses in relation to the inhabitants of these places. Also, this investigation, which consisted of bibliography research and field studies, has been done using written sources as well as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to produce cartographic information in order to obtain the most updated data. Knowing the current situation in the world in relation to the environment and the gradual destruction of the same, it is important to know which plants still survive in our environment, how to preserve them, and in which way they help us to preserve the environment.
