The objective of this investigation is to describe the explanation of the women victims of domestic violence in the Sígsig parish, regarding the administrative protection measures issued by the Cantonal Board for the Protection of Rights, in the year 2022. A qualitative approach was used, a descriptive scope and a phenomenological design. The population consisted of sixteen women victims of domestic violence. For data collection, information from secondary sources was used and the focus group technique was applied. In relation to the proposed objectives, it was obtained that the administrative measure that was issued most frequently during that year was to prohibit the aggressor by himself or by third parties intimidating, threatening or coercing the woman or any member of the family. Likewise, based on the opinions of the participants, it was found that there are internal, external and economic aspects that facilitate and hinder compliance with protection measures. The internal aspects are related to personal development, the external aspects are associated with environmental influences, such as the family, and the resources available to it, and the economic aspects encompass economic dependence. Complying with the protection measures generated in the women a state of harmony with the people around them. Based on the results and laws related to the problem, proposals were made from the perspective of Social Work, in relation to compliance with administrative protection measures.
