Item Diseño de estrategias de innovación y participación local para la conservación de la alfarería a través del turismo. Caso de estudio parroquia San Miguel de Porotos, Azogues, Ecuador(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-10-23) Brito Padilla, Natalia Noemí; Yumbla Coraizaca, Natalia Veronica; Soliz Carrión, Doris JosefinaThis study arises from the need to find alternatives for the revaluation and innovation of the pottery of the parish of San Miguel de Porotos through tourism. To achieve this, an in-depth diagnosis was carried out, which includes a mapping of actors and an exhaustive bibliographic review to obtain reliable information about the community and its pottery activity. Then, with the realization of semi- structured interviews with both the pottery members and the authorities that are part of the Parish GAD, the analysis of the current situation of pottery in the sector was obtained. Subsequently, the information collected was condensed for its respective analysis and strategy proposal. In addition, participatory workshops were held so that the innovation processes are endogenous, as a result of that, the main problems of pottery were identified. Therefore, strategies were prioritized through the tree of problems and SWOT analysis for the development of the portfolio of programs and projects based on innovation strategies and local participation, considering that the main thing is to maintain and transmit this technique, putting it in value through the promotion of cultural tourism. At the end of this project, it is expected that this technique will generate interest in the population and tourists who visit it. In this sense, community tourism is understood as an activity that is developed directly with the population, that is, the active participation of the local community in tourism activities (Monge and Yagüe, 2016). Thus, this research is of interest in the development of tourism of the Kushi Waira tourist center, which is developed in a rural area, just 30 minutes from the city of Cuenca that is considered a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Therefore, the objective of this research is to design a strengthening plan for the Kushi Waira rural community tourism project of Tarqui parish in Cuenca canton, through strategies that contain two tourist packages, which have as their main attraction the knowledge of the daily routine of the communities, as well as the exploration of the flora and fauna that inhabit that place. For which we will start with a current diagnosis of the mentioned community and thus have a better knowledge about the territory under study. Likewise, an inventory of tourist attractions and resources will be drawn up in order to cadastre, hierarchize, weigh and geographically associate these resources. Finally, the tourist potential of this community will be analyzed with the purpose of knowing which attractions are more viable for the development of community tourism in this sector, which helps local progress. That is, this work will serve as support for the Quilloac community to value its culture and at the same time develop it through tourism, achieving social economic growth in that community, in addition this will help Quilloac to be recognized as a tourist attraction at the cantonal and provincial level. In addition, Cuenca, being declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO on December 1st, 1999, takes great importance in the development of tourism, for which the local government has carried out various activities for the conservation and preservation of the heritage inheritance. Currently, after the global health crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, great economic and social impacts have been caused, which are difficult to recover. Therefore, this study focuses on regaining confidence and optimizing the expectations of national and international visitors, safely and reliably promoting the improvement of tourism development. The study is based on designing strategies that allow the reactivation of tourist activity, in accordance with the reality of the demand, generating an effective proposal, capable of enhancing the interaction and incidence of the museum, providing a museum space, of great heritage and cultural value. The PRISMA method is employed to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR). Key findings encompass clusters of recurrent keywords, the evolution of tourism research over time, and both international and local collaboration networks. The interdisciplinarity of these networks is underscored by the study. Despite the richness of international cooperation, local collaboration remains limited. The following research tells the story of bakery in Cuenca prior to its foundation, data are also analyzed allowing us to verify a pre- Hispanic bakery, which, with the passage of time, together with the inheritance of knowledge brought with the colonizers, has evolved to what we know nowadays Around bakery they developed several aspects of the city, history shows how it was closely related to the development of the city and its exercise has gone improving according to the passage of time where professionals have perfected the techniques and knowledge, the same that have been mostly oral, of generation by generation. Professionals in the field such as historians and people involved first-hand with bakery were the ones who gave us their knowledge to be able to build what It would be the history of bakery in the city, each of its stages up to the present, in which reflects the heritage of that history. Finally, several questions could be answered regarding the birth of bakery, the social and cultural development that existed around it since its inception, about the information that exists about it, historical records and facts that were never recorded, the aspects that influenced this development of bakery before, during and after the Spanish colonization, in this way we can reconstruct historical memory and propose options that help to further promote strengthening of the gastronomic heritage represented by bakery in Cuenca.
