    Prevalencia de Estilos de vida y factores individuales asociados a médicos que laboran en ambiente hospitalario frente los que trabajan a nivel comunitario del MSP en la provincia del Azuay en el año 2015

    BACKGROUND: WHO recommends a healthy lifestyle throughout the entire life cycle. In previous studies it was found that 4 out of 5 doctors have an unhealthy life. GENERAL: To determine lifestyles and individual factors associated with physicians working in hospital environment faced by working at the community level MSP in the province of Azuay in 2015. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: A cross-sectional study was conducted. With a universe of 630 doctors by the Epi-Info software; and an expected frequency of 16% worse result of 10% and a confidence level of 95%, a statistical sample of 120 doctors, divided into a group and a community hospital environment was obtained. Data were collected and analyzed directly in Excel and SPPS in tables to determine association and significance regarding the prevalence of lifestyle. RESULTS: The prevalence of healthy lifestyles corresponds to 67.5%, followed by unhealthy style with 32.5%. At community level 85% have healthy lifestyle, while the unhealthy life style belong 15%. In the hospital environment 50% have healthy lifestyle and 50% unhealthy. CONCLUSION: Doctors that work in a community area have better lifestyle than doctors that work in a hospital because the first group obtained 85% in healthy lifestyle, while the second only 50%
