Sucumbíos in the province of Orellana, in order to verify compliance with the levels defined in the Energy Quality standard established by the REGULATION No. CONELEC - 004/01 of Ecuador for quality product. To start the work it is necessary to obtain knowledge about the current regulations, as well as the electrical definitions that intervene in the provisions to understand that it is consistent with the term "Energy Quality". The data provided by the owner of the feeder is taken into consideration as well as the field measurements. It is also possible to analyze the parameters of the power supply system of the Cyme-Cymdist simulation software in which the influence of a thermal energy generation system linked to the feeder can be appreciated in the best way.Item Estudio de prefactibilidad para la aplicación de un sistema fotovoltaico para el edificio administrativo de la Central Termoeléctrica El Descanso, de acuerdo con la Regulación Nro. ARCONEL- 003/18(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-06-16) García Pesántez, Luis Emilio; Sempértegui Álvarez, Rodrigo EfraínTechnological advances and the search for new alternatives to produce less polluting electricity, using non-conventional renewable sources, allow the application of generation systems using photovoltaic solar technology. The present titling work presents a prefeasibility study that proposes alternatives of photovoltaic systems connected to the electricity grid, to cover the energy demand of the existing loads in the El Descanso thermoelectric power station, located in the El Descanso sector, Azogues, province of Cañar. The study starts with the analysis of Regulation 003/18, issued by the ARCONEL, called photovoltaic generation for self-supply of final consumers of electrical energy. The project is based on two analyzes: on the one hand, the search for feasibility at the prefeasibility level of the technical application of a photovoltaic system and on the other hand the economic evaluation of the project. Several technical and economic alternatives are presented for the development of the degree work. Information is collected using primary sources such as the weather station owned by ELECAUSTRO, located at the El Descanso thermoelectric plant. This information allows the technical feasibility to be evaluated using current and more efficient technology, thus allowing the existing solar resource in the area to be used as much as possible. The high fiscal cost generated by the use of subsidized LPG in Ecuador and socio-political impacts that can generate a decision of the Ecuadorian government with respect to the price of liquefied petroleum gas, demand evaluation using multi-criteria analysis of several scenarios which They are: Maintain the current subsidy (BAU) Raise the price of domestic LPG cylinder from US $ 1.60 to US $ 5.00, subsidize the consumption of LPG for cooking for quintiles 1 and 2 of the Ecuadorian population and finally replace the use of LPG for cooking electricity for all Ecuadorians homes. The mathematical models used are: Quipu is a compensatory model - no compensatory and ELECTRE III based on the concordance and discordance between variables. Distribution systems are designed for a unidirectional flow to customers, several studies suggest as a solution to the technical and safety issues to take into account of Distributed Generation , by location and simple mode of operation, always with a focus on to minimize negative impacts on the management and operation of the original distribution systems . Importance of security and diversification of the energy mix, renewable energy to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, promotes the development of renewable resource projects while issuing and updating of the Regulations by the CONELEC, support their evolution. The use of distributed generation can provide improvements in power quality, fundamental aspect of production systems. The main objective of this study is to quantify the amount of unnecessary light produced by public lighting that is focused on the facades of existing buildings in Cuenca’s historic downtown, as well as estimate the energy consumed to illuminate these areas. Chapters 1 and 2 describe the concepts related to public lighting and light pollution. Chapter 3 presents a methodology to estimate the amount of light, energy and luminous flux produced by the luminaires next to the facades of buildings, then chapter 4 shows information based on the photometric data of the luminaries existing in the study area. Chapter 5 evaluates and performs an analysis to quantify the amount of light not necessary and that illuminates the adjacent facades. Chapter 6 describes some solutions for the problems of light pollution. The Electrical National Code, the Agency of Regulation and Control of the Electricity (ARCONEL), the Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy (MEER), the electrical Colombian regulation RETIE and technical international specifications, are mentioned in this document; allowing to standardize criteria and procedure guaranteeing the comprehension and use on the part of the users. The electrical internal facilities transport and distribute the electric power, from the point of supply up to the equipment dependent on this one. It is important to apply the regulations that guarantee a good, lasting and sure functioning, and to take care of our physical integrity by means of the protection use. The distribution systems so much air as undergrounds, allow that the electric power should come to the places of consumption, for this motive his correct resize is tied to being still certain only and criteria that should help to support the levels of voltage, to reduce the losses; guaranteeing reliability and allowing the users to have a quality energy, and for this reach standards handled by the distribution companies.Item Laboratorio experimental con tecnología de realidad aumentada para la transición del trazado de elementos en el plano de dos dimensiones a la abstracción tridimensional en el aprendizaje de algebra lineal(2014) Morquecho Calle, Viviana Jackeline; Sempértegui Álvarez, Rodrigo EfraínThis research aims to increase the level of spatial intelligence for the transition from two-dimensional to three-dimensional view of geometric elements in mathematical problems in students taking linear algebra, by implementing an experimental laboratory with augmented reality technology. The results are favorable because the level of skills that are involved in spatial intelligence of students undergoing increases. A process that consists of five steps is executed: a methodological analysis of Linear Algebra in the real three-dimensional space is developed. A Teaching Guide for use by students as a tool to interact with the augmented reality system is structured. The third stage consists of the development of technological environment interaction between the guides and the Augmented Reality software for the transition from traditional two-dimensional to three-dimensional abstraction. The fourth stage executes the process of intervention with students taking the subject using the lab sessions. Finally, a comparative diagnostic process on spatial intelligence skills is performed.
