Item Valoración del bajo peso, sobrepeso y obesidad de los niños de la Escuela Hernán Cordero Crespo perteneciente a la parroquia El Sagrario del cantón Cuenca 2010-2011(2011) Segarra Cadme, Fanny Isabel; Rojas Jiménez, Yenny Nohemí; Vega Méndez, Mariela Priscila; Peñafiel Peñafiel, Marcia Beatriz; Cabrera Cárdenas, Carmen LucíaTo determine the prevalence of low weight, overweight and obesity in the children of the Hernán School Curled Lamb of the corner River basin 2010 -2011. Material and method: One is a study of cross section that allowed to determine the prevalence of low weight, overweight and obesity of the children of the Hernán School Curled Lamb of the Parish the Shrine of the Corner River basin. The universe was constituted by (697) young registered in September of the 2010-2011, applying the formula statistically it obtained a sample of (88) students between the second and seventh basic year of education. Techniques and instruments: The investigation techniques that we used were the following: - The interview that was realized the parents of family of the investigated children to value socioeconomic condition, of health, house, and to relate it to the nutritional situation of the children. - The technique of measurement of anthropometric control realized the investigated children. The instruments that were used are: - The tables of index of corporal mass (IMC) - The curves of growth of the NCHS - Form of survey on the socioeconomic condition The data process and were analyzed by means of the programs Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Collected all the data of each of the children it was come to realize the respective tabulations, interpretations and analysis of the same, finding the following results that the 9,09% with a weight inferior to the normal thing, 23,86% with on weight and obesity in 27,27%. Conclusion: The bad nutrition is present in the training group and is related to the socioeconomic situation of the children.
