Research related to adobe stabilizers is extensive; however, at the local level, the use of adobe in construction dates back several decades; however, its use has been reduced in recent years, which is why it is considered necessary to strengthen it in the local environment. The study was developed taking into consideration different types of composition of soil and vegetal aggregates, as well as the compaction process, for the determination of the compressive strength, with the objective of determining the type of stabilizers, materials and tests that are appropriate for optimize the construction system of adobe. For the analysis of the information on the capacity of the adobe stabilizers, a search was carried out in books, scientific articles, indexed journals, and other similar works on digital platforms such as ScienceDirect, IEEE and Google Scholar, for which thirty authors who met the criteria were collected. with the analysis and comparison criteria. Evidencing that the investigations carried out and the tests of stabilizers in adobe highlight that it improves the resistance to compression, because they present higher values of resistance to compression in stabilized adobes than traditional adobes, especially with the use of Portland type I cement.
