    The current increase in temperature in urban areas arises mainly from the replacement of green areas with asphalt and concrete, favoring the formation of Urban Heat Islands (UHI), and generating microclimates that affect thermal comfort and cause the deterioration of the construction materials. To do this, the "El Arenal" market is taken as a case study, in which the high temperatures and minimum vegetation present will be analyzed, where measurements will be made, in order to identify the presence of ICUs, and proposals will be made. several sustainable criteria and strategies that improve the comfort of the place and promote a healthier and more environmentally friendly environment.
