    Lenguaje y reproducción de estereotipos de género en estudiantes de la Facultad de Jurisprudencia de la Universidad de Cuenca, ciclo marzo-julio de 2014

    This research aims to demonstrate the reproduction of gender stereotypes through language in students of jurisprudence in the period March July 2014. The methodology used was based on the observation, the application of a survey, life stories and focus groups; tools of qualitative methodology applied to the students. Contains 4 chapters, the first speech of the historical context of asymmetric relations between men and women from a gender vision, the second chapter discusses the important role that language plays in the reproduction of gender stereotypes, in the third chapter the analysis is performed for the fieldwork whose analysis allows the fourth chapter a proposal is developed to generate strategies to establish changes in the relationships between students and the university community in general on the issue of gender. This research confirms the presence of androcentric behaviors that lead to gender stereotypes, use of sexist and discriminatory language among the students of the Faculty of Law at the University of Cuenca in term time out above.
