Item Investigación-acción para la innovación educativa en el aula(2016) Sapatanga Guartasaca, Ruth Alexandra; Rodríguez Peralta, Juan NapoleónAction research for educational innovation in the classroom is a collection and analysis of bibliographic information that aims to propose action research as an useful tool for a permanent process of innovation in the classroom. Moreover, it answers the following questions: how can you innovate in the classroom through the methodical use of action research? and, what is the role of the teacher in the classroom? Action research in the classroom is a reflexive and spiral process that includes at least four basic phases: to visualize a problem that arises in the teaching-learning process, to diagnose the problem, to formulate a proposal of change, and to apply and evaluate of the proposal. In this educational perspective, teachers become active subjects, researchers of their own teaching process. Considering the systematic process of research - action in the classroom, and in searching of the transformation of inappropriate practices, it is intended to innovate the educational practice what consists in investigating new ideas, proposals and contributions for getting the solution of problematic situations that are presented in the educational spaces which will contribute to a change in the contexts where these processes are carried out. Thus, educational innovation as a reflective thinking proposes a qualitatively significant change in the educational situation which is complemented by the proposal of the methodology of action research that brings steps in order to lead towards of transformation of the same practice.
