    Evaluación y capacitación a padres y madres de familia sobre conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de desarrollo de los niños/as de 0 a 5 años que participan en el Proyecto Creciendo con Nuestros Hijos, de la parroquia de San José de Raranga, período octubre 2010-marzo 2011

    This study is an intervention - Action, which aims to assess knowledge, attitudes and practices of parents and mothers, given the development of their children. The sample consisted of 50 parents of the program "Growing with Our Children" Precaps was applied, with the following results: In knowledge, 68% do not know at what age should wash hands, face and teeth without help, 70% do not know at what age children should dress and undress themselves. Attitudes, 82% think the walker to walk soon and help strengthen the muscles of the legs. In practice, 94% have cinched the children, 72% has stuck and bathed in cold water to their children when they were controlling sphincters. After Educational Intervention Poscaps was applied with the following results: In knowledge, 88% know at what age children should wash their hands, face and teeth without help, 92% know at what age children dress and undress themselves. Attitudes, 94% think that the walker does not improve gait or muscle strength. In practice there were no significant changes.
