Item Prevalencia de bullying y factores asociados en adolescentes de los colegios de la ciudad de Cuenca 2013(2013) Quizhpi Guamán, Edwin Andrés; Salinas Hidalgo, Cristopher Javier; Sarmiento Pisco, Pablo Oscar; Jaramillo Oyervide, Julio AlfredoObjective: To determine the prevalence of bullying and associated factors in high school teenagers Cuenca 2013.- Materials and Methods: The following is a descriptive cross-sectional study, the sample of which was obtained using the statistical program Epi Info version 6, considering a universe of 51451 adolescents enrolled in high schools in Cuenca, with an expected frequency of 51.8%, an acceptable worst 55% and a confidence level of 95% the sample size is 920 adolescents, to which were added 10% possible loss, that is, 92 participants, getting a total sample 1012, belonging to 64 high schools of Cuenca city, allocation by simple randomization was performed by applying EPIDAT system version 3.1. The questionnaire used was previously validated. The data were processed in SPSS version 15.00 Evaluation.- Results: The prevalence of bullying in the students from high schools in Cuenca city is 5%, it is more common in men (5.4% ) than in women (4.6%).- Conclusions: The bullying is a phenomenon present among adolescent urban high schools students of Cuenca city.AU
