In this way, correctly identifying employees according to their performance and potential is of vital importance to take actions and decisions to develop them in the company under study. Therefore, the objective of this research work is to develop a Plan for the development of leadership based on the results of the Nine Box matrix that allows identifying the best collaborators according to their performance and potential within the organization and taking actions to manage their talent. The research included a quantitative methodology that used the Nine Box tool to group people into nine quadrants according to their performance obtained from secondary sources of information provided by the company, and on the other hand their potential that was obtained from the application of a questionnaire that measures it from the agility of learning, applied to a representative sample of workers in the company studied. The results show that the highest percentage of employees (45%) are within the group of "Futures Stars" who are the true supports of the organization, and another representative percentage (11%) are "Stars", the best employees within the company, being a significant result, which shows people who will be ready to assume new roles and will be key to possible succession processes. Finally, this identification allowed to generate plans for the development of people with specific actions for each of the groups identified within the Nine Box matrix
