Item Calidad de vida en mujeres mayores de 60 años, Centro de Salud N1, Azogues 2018(2019-03-28) Sailema Manotoa, Paulina Maricela; Naulaguari Medina, Patricia PiedadBackground: in Ecuador, the older adult population has become a vulnerable group of significant statistical growth, which is exposed to major health problems that can cause changes in their quality of life, particularly for women. Objective: determine the quality of life in women older than 60 years who attend the N1 health center in the city of Azogues. Method and Materials: descriptive and cross-sectional study with analysis of the Quality of Life of women over 60 years of age. The universe consisted of 2658 women over 60 years old; The sample calculated in Epi Info 3.5., was 180 participants selected by simple sample for convenience. The FUMAT scale was applied. For the presentation and analysis of data the SPSS 24 program was used. In the presentation of the results, tables and graphs were used, with analysis of frequencies and percentages. Results: 64.4% correspond to the age group 60 to 69 years, with a predominance of married civil status 53.9%, from the province of Cañar (47.8%), resident in the urban area (69.4%); ethnic group (53.3%); in addition, they present an index of 98 with a 46th percentile, being in a low average level of quality of life. Conclusion: the quality of life of women older than 60 years of health center No 1 according to the FUMAT scale is at a low average level
