(2018) Sacta Cabrera, Edisson Santiago; Sapatanga Guartasaca, Fausto Marcelo; Guerrero Balarezo, Xavier Eduardo
The purpose of this intervention project is to propose a model of alternative tourism development focused on camping activity for the Tres Lagunas sector of the Principal parish, canton Chordeleg, Azuay province. To achieve the development of the proposal, a situational tourism diagnosis of the town is made, in which the infrastructure, tourist facilities and attractions are analyzed. The study sector is located in a Protected Forest and Vegetation Area, its environmental characteristics such as its ecosystems and diversity of flora and fauna are described. It also presents the scheme and specific features of the Tres Lagunas trail. A signage design and basic tourist facilities for the camp are also carried out. Finally, the program of camp activities is validated and evaluated through satisfaction surveys, whose results help in making decisions to develop and position tourism in the sector as competitive and provide a satisfactory experience for tourists
