    Anteproyecto arquitectónico de la nueva biblioteca en Sucúa, Morona Santiago

    The canton of Sucúa, in Morona Santiago, requires a library facility that fosters access to educational materials and promotes cultural activities. For this reason, the primary objective of this thesis is the design of the architectural preliminary project for a new library in Sucúa. The project aims to comprehensively address the cultural and educational needs of the population. To achieve these objectives, the work will include a diagnosis based on theoretical backgrounds, an analysis of relevant project case studies, site analysis, and a focus on architectural design criteria. Additionally, functional and sustainable aspects will be integrated, ensuring that this facility provides multifunctional spaces such as reading rooms, study areas, zones for cultural events, and workshops. Finally, the project's development seeks to establish this facility as a community meeting center that promotes learning, creativity, and social participation. The proposal will not only meet current demands for cultural infrastructure but also contribute positively to improving the quality of life of Sucúa's inhabitants.
