    From the beginnings the man has been protected from the climate, they created types of precarious constructions until throughout the years it has evolved with different materials, such it is the case of the employment of the brick. The brick has a great path along his history, besides with this one were built different representative buildings on the world; reason for which the present study pretend to give to know the utilization of this material in three specific cities: Cuenca, Bogotá and Asunción. Thus establishing a morphological project of the use of the brick. This project proposes another way of using this material, which may be considered in various constructions in the city, this document is inviting to frequent handling the brick by the nobility of his path, for its quality and ensuring the use of the material.
