    Julieta y julieta
(2013) Romero Tapia, Marcia Paola; Peroff Montesinos, María Isabel
Within the major it has given us several staging techniques and construction methods. For my installation I chose to work from the Anthropological Theatre, Stanislavski method and contemporary dance. The Dramaturgy is based in the classic play "Romeo and Juliet" from Shakespeare. I proposed myself to develop an installation with experiences of people that have different sexual tendencies: lesbians. While in Ecuador laws, now a homosexual couple can live together, but it’s still not resolved the legal issues as well as the religious issues, because of discrimination. Therefore this proposal I want to sensitize the spectator taking as a reference Shakespeare's tragedy "Romeo and Juliet" by transferring it to a new contemporary language and calling it "Juliet and Juliet". The lack of acceptance is evidenced by the problems of communication, information and education about the diversity of nuclear families that can and should exist freely in Ecuador and in the world. We need to start changing our mentality and resolve these kinds of problems quickly and what better way of thinking based on the enjoyment of art. In this stage proposal we will discuss the problems posed by Shakespeare: the struggle of social classes, love is not allowed, hidden love, love and hatred between families, in this case would be coupled to a contemporary language with the experiences of homosexual couples would be “Juliet and Juliet” , a love that is present but full of the same old problems. I invite you to be part of this scenic product that will be revealed in the story that has been investigated during the research process
