Item Aplicación del lenguaje enfermero NANDA, NOC, NIC, en las actividades básicas de la vida diaria del adulto/a mayor en el Hogar Cristo Rey. Cuenca. 2014(2015) Pintado Yupa, Doris Priscila; Tapia Peñafiel, Nila Rene; Sinche Rivera, Elisabeth Cecilia; Romero Bravo, Julia EtelvinaBackground: In Ecuador, according to the 2010 census, the population of elderly was of 1,341,664, that corresponding to 9.3% of the Ecuadorian population. The comprehensive care of this group requires an objective assessment of daily activities to promote an optimal nursing care. Objective: To apply the Nurse terminology NANDA, NOC, NIC in the Basic Activities of Daily Living of elderly at “Hogar Cristo Rey”, Cuenca 2014. Method and Materials: A descriptive study that included 82 older adults was conducted. The information was obtained by applying the Functional Rating Scale Barthel of the Ministry of Public Health. With the results a plan of nursing care applying the NANDA, NOC, NIC taxonomy was developed. Results: Of the study population, the 52,44% (n=43) were male and 47,56% (n=39) are female, according to the functional assessment with the Barthel score, only 6,10% (n=5) of older adults have independence, the remaining 93,90% (n=77) depends to some extent on the assistance and relevant nursing care; of these, the largest percentage, 37.80% (n = 31) corresponds to those who have a moderate dependence. Conclusions: Functional assessment daily activities of older adults using a standardized scale enable the development of objectives care plans nursing, using the NANDA, NOC-NIC taxonomy.Item Conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de VIH/SIDA en mujeres que asisten a consulta de ginecología en el Centro de Salud N°1 Pumapungo. Objective: To determine knowledge, attitudes and practices of HIV / AIDS in women attending the Gynecology Health Center # 1 Pumapungo Cuenca, 2014. Methodology: this research was descriptive, his universe settle for 165 women. The survey form on knowledge, attitudes and practices of HIV / AIDS developed and validated by the authors, the data obtained were analyzed in SPSS 18, Excel, Word programs, presentation boards are used as a technique and instrument; and their analysis. OBJETIVE: through this research, it was determined risk factors associated with non-communicable chronic degenerative diseases in older adults in the community of Quilloac, Cañar 2014. METHODOLY: it is an analytical study of prevalence, the universe it constituted 350 adults older, of which is worked with a sample 133 who signed the consent informed. Be used as technical them surveys, instrument elaborated and validated by the authors. The data were processed and analyzed using Microsoft Word, Excel and SPSS version 15; the results are presented in simple tables with their respective analysis. RESULTS: 133 older adults surveyed, 59% are women between the ages of 65-80 years, as current disease have Arthritis with 49%, perform medical control of its diseases 89% are satisfied with their lives of which 65% are married, 89% consume 3-5 meals daily to maintain a balanced diet 71%, exclusive activities carried out in the field, 45% consumed alcoholic beverages from time to time, tobacco consumption is lower incidence in this population group with 3%.
