The work is organized into six chapters, at first some theoretical and perceptions of citizen participation meanings are shown, then the area of study and the methodological approach is presented, later citizen participation is analyzed on one hand as a right through local and national legislation; and on the other hand as a process, and finally conclusions are presented, some suggestions or recommendations are shown in order to strengthen participatory processes that take place in the town.
