    Estudio del costo real de la mano de obra en la construcción ecuatoriana

    The intention of the investigation is to evaluate the real cost of labor in ecuadorian construction, considering the concepts that are effectively part of the cost, which are often not included. It was observed that, in practice, construction professionals are unaware of the breadth of the rules and regulations that affect the cost of labor, a situation that has worsened in recent times due to the biosafety protocols to be observed; Therefore, in determining the actual cost, the following must be included.The market values that the workers demand as the minimum salary according to the specialty Payments to the IESS (Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security).Costs of industrial safety and occupational hygiene (equipment for workers, talks, industrial engineering, etc.).Occupational Medical (entrance, annual, exit exams and various mandatory exams for the entry of workers to work).Cost of accident prevention and response plans. Provisions for dismissal, resignation. Provisions for mandatory and individual salary increases. Important points, because they contemplate various requirements by law, which will be indicated in the development of the study; requirements that generate expenses that must be part of the actual monthly cost of a worker; being real expense assumed by the professional of the work per month. In this regard, the intention of the work, therefore, is to guide, through a methodological guide, the comprehensive evaluation of the costs associated with the labor component for the salary categories present in construction in Ecuador.
