    Estudio de los factores que potencian el desarrollo de alojamiento turístico en sectores rurales, caso cantón San Fernando sector Laguna de Busa

    Tourism in Ecuador generates sources of employment and economic income, therefore, this research work analyzes the factors that enhance the development of tourist accommodation in rural areas, in the canton of San Fernando, Laguna de Busa sector. The study applied a qualitative analysis and quantitative through a theoretical tracing of the state of the art and the application of measuring instruments, to a representative sample of 370 visitors, stratified according to the research objectives. Analyzed variables sociodemographic and behavioral, establishing different correlations between the most relevant study factors. Thus, the study showed that The factors that promote tourism development in the sector are the attractions nature, fun activities, potential accommodation and gastronomy. Finally, it concludes that the Laguna de Busa sector has a great wealth landscape, cultural and gastronomic and shows a high potential for the accommodation development. However, the PDOT guidelines and the resistance to the change of the inhabitants hinder the progressive development of tourism in general.
