    Parental educational styles are the key to the development of children pillar. The objective of this research is to try to describe the main parenting styles of parents of children aged 0-3 years old attending the Child Development Center "Ciudad de Cuenca". Based on models of parenting or parental educational styles of Diana Baumrind, a pioneer of research on this subject, the styles were defined as: authoritarian, permissive and democratic. The results obtained in this study allow us to first know what the attitudinal and behavioral trends that are used by parents for the education and upbringing of children are; and secondly, to determine the number of parents who have a defined educational style. It is important that parents are informed about educational practices and guide, since these depend on the training and education of their children, not only in early stages but throughout his life.
