    Empresa Eléctrica Azogues C.A. in the continuous improvement of its distribution networks, has implemented intelligent devices such as relays and reclosers that are in constant communication with the Control Center by sending and receiving analog and digital signals, this communication allows the operator to have real-time knowledge of the situation of the network and perform maneuvers in case of any contingency to restore service to the largest number of affected users. Since the Company does not have automatic control systems, these incidents negatively affect the quality of the technical service provided by the distribution company, since they require a long time for the failed sections to be isolated from the network and the load of the healthy sections to be reestablished by transferring them to another feeder. In this work, the normal operating conditions of the network formed by feeders 221 and 223 of the distribution company were analyzed in order to identify the necessary variables to develop an automatic reconfiguration algorithm for the system under study, using the digital and analog signals obtained from the protection devices such as relays and reclosers; The execution of the algorithm, after performing a signal check, evaluates the different failure scenarios and when the conditions of any of them are met, executes commands that allow isolating the failed section and if possible transferring the healthy section to the other feeder.
